Love Parade returns in Berlin. |

| Hundreds of thousands of people turned out for the return of Love Parade, taking place in Berlin, to enjoy a sunshine-filled day of techno music. The parade came back after a two-year gap. It happened because of financial problems. Organizers had planed to attract one million people to the area around the Brandenburg Gate. About 40 decorated floats drove through the streets with DJs aboard to entertain people. The Love Parade started its way as a little rave in 1989. It happens when the Berlin Wall fell. This year, under the slogan The Love is back, dance music fans from the whole world came back to the German capital. The festival continued all day, with different parties at the citys nightclubs. There were also such famous performers, as DJs Paul van Dyk, Westbam and Tiesto. |
