| Two Sundays a year takes place Oberbaum Market where around 100 artists from Berlin and Europe display their art and discuss it with the public. This event is held only on 1st July and on 5th August. The bridge in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg changes into an art open-air for this event. The idea is the union effort of the Stadtteilausschuß Kreuzberg and the Künstleriniative East Side Gallery, both of which try to improve the area around the river Spree as well as encouraging art in the capital. |
